We offer full service gunsmith and firearm customization services including repair, cleaning, optics, and more. 

Gunsmith Work Order Service Agreement

Terms & Conditions

Our Terms and Conditions are covered within our Gunsmith Work Order Service Agreement, which is required to be agreed to, and signed prior to conducting any repairs or services. This includes the initial assessment. Please complete this at the link provided at the top of this page.

Estimates

All Prices are labor estimates based on average completion times of work completed for the service type and do not include parts or accessories.

If parts and components are provided, the customer is only charged labor fees. If estimates are accepted and repairs are authorized, the Initial Assessment Fee will be deducted from the overall labor fee for the Work Order.

If the services are not completed the Initial Assessment fee will be charged at the completion of the Work Order and return of the firearm to the customer.

Cleaning Services

Disassemble, Clean & Inspect Most Revolvers and Pistols 
Disassemble, Clean & Inspect AR Type Rifle 
Disassemble, Clean & Inspect Complex Long Gun (A-5, M-12, 1897 & Win Levers, Etc.) 

What’s Included:
Full disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of weapon’s operational components; gauging and assessment of weapon component strength; lubrication, reassembly, and function check of weapon.

Handguns

Install Most Aftermarket Trigger “Kits”  plus parts
Install Sights in Existing Cuts  plus parts

What’s Included:
Full disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of weapon’s operational components; removal of existing components (will be provided back to customer upon return); installation of new components; lubrication, reassembly, and function check of weapon.

 Sight/Optics

Mount & Boresight Scope Simple plus components

What’s Included:
Removal of sight plate or any existing optics on the weapon (will be provided back to customer upon return); installation of optic onto necessary mounting mechanism (slide cut, scope rings, etc.); installation of optic system onto the weapon; boresight and adjustment of optic; reassembly, and function check of weapon.

Rifles

Assemble or Repair AR Type Upper Receiver Component (Dust Cover, Forward Assist)
Install or Swap AR Type Barrel / Rail / Gas System 
Install or Adjust Aftermarket Trigger 
Assemble or Repair AR Type Lower Receiver 
Complete AR Type Rifle Assembly 

What’s Included:
Full disassembly and inspection of the weapon components involved in the service; removal of any existing components that require repair or swapped (will be provided back to customer on return); installation of new components; lubrication, reassembly, and function check of the weapon.

GUN BUY BACKS AND APPRAISALS

We Buy Rifles, Shotguns, Handguns and more! Whether it’s a single firearm, an entire collection, antiques, etc. bring them in for our appraisers to see.

Come into our retail store anytime during regular business hours and ask to see one of our appraisers. 

Depending on the quantity and/or history of your firearms, it may take a little longer to evaluate. If you have more than three firearms to sell or be appraised, please call ahead (585) 708-4348 or email sales@sugarbusharmory.com to request an appointment or arrange a time to drop them off for us to look at after hours, then schedule a time for you to return for pay out/pick up.

CONSIGNMENT

In return for acting as the agent for Consignor Sugarbush Armory LLC will retain the following percentage of selling price as commission for the items sold:

• 25% of the selling price of the items up to $500
• 20% of the selling price of the items from $501 – $1000
• 15% of the selling price of the items $1001 and over
• Other services provided by Sugarbush Armory, (e.g., cleaning or repair) or for services provided by third-party vendors (e.g., auction listing fees) are additional and are not included in the consignment fee. 
• Internet setup fee of minimum $45.00, for the first 120 days.
  After the initial 120 days there is a $1.00 per day fee until the firearm is sold, or the customer requests the firearms returned.

We provide Secure, Safe Storage of Your Collection. Ensure the safety of your assets as well as piece of mind that your weapons are not a safety risk for you or your family.
